Seasons, senses & self: Day 27
A man walked up to a deadline and said “I’m not scared of you”. The deadline smirked. “I’ve got Important Things to Do” said the man. “I’ll deal with you later.”
But one of the Important Things dragged him away. Ah well, said the man, and pushed the deadline back. Twice. It scowled at him.
Finally the man got back to his desk. But he was tired. First he had to relax. The day drained away. “I’ll catch you tomorrow” he said.
But the chain of meeting daily deadlines snapped, and mending it was a long struggle. The deadlines smirked.
